Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner (Deep Black) Review
Halo amigos ~ Today I decided to do a review on this particular eyeliner. I had nothing to do today, and I thought of doing an eyeliner review for you guys.
Figure 1: The dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in the new packaging
I have heard many raves about this liquid eyeliner and decided to give it a try. I've been trying to find the one in the old packaging but I could not find in it any of Singapore's drug stores. I guess this is the new packaging huh? The old packing had polka dots and a little ribbon. Look at the picture below to have a closer look at the old packing.
Figure 2: The Old Packaging
Figure 3: A close up on the new packaging
The new packaging has purple flower like designs. They kind of remind me of daisies? Maybe they are daisies huh. Yeah but I think the old packaging was a little cuter. I am a little disappointed that I couldn't find this eyeliner in its old packaging but the only difference between the new and old one is just the packaging. So fear not, all the pros of this eyeliner are still around. Although, it is said to have slight improvements. I can't really comment on that since I did not try the eyeliner in the old packaging though.
Figure 4: A close up of the eyeliner pen
I love how the pen is designed, it's like a felt tip eyeliner pen. The tip allows you to begin with a very thin line and you can build it up if you like a thicker eyeliner look. It is so smooth and easy to apply. Before using the product on the first time, remember to shake the product a little.
Figure 5: Swatches
Figure 6: After splashing water and rubbing it for about 5 seconds
I am surprised that even with water the liner did not budge or smudge. It is really good. Right now, I am a big fan of this eyeliner. It comes in two colors, brown and deep black. The eyeliner dries super quickly avoiding smudges. I made a mistake while drawing my eyeliner, I rubbed it off with the tip of my index finger. It came off perfectly and didn't leave any residue.
It lasts all day without flaking. Overall, it is an awesome eyeliner. I might consider getting one in brown but I'll just wait out to finish the current one that I have. The only complaint about this product is probably how costly it is. I bought it from Watson's at a retail price of $24.90. But the product is definitely worth its price. Thumbs up for this product. =)
Update: 17may
After a long day, and my eyeliner is still perrrtfect baby!
Adios amigos ~

Anime Review: Strike the Blood
Strike the blood is an awesome fantasy anime revolving around a school boy that has been turned into a Vampire in a place where the supernatural live in harmony with human beings. It's filled with action, romance and a little Ecchi. According to wiki, Ecchi is an often used Japanese slang term in the Japanese language for lewd or lascivious conduct. You know, a little boob grabbing, pantie showing and so on ... I love action filled movies with romance. To me that's what makes the best kind of movie/anime/drama. So watching the first few episodes of this anime, it already seems like an awesome and interesting movie.
This anime has unfortunately only 24 episodes. I am not sure if they are gonna have a second two, but we have to wait and see right?
The story takes place in Itogami City, a man-made island in the coast of Japan. It's a home of various races of demons, and people are okay with that.
This anime revolves around the main character Akatsuki Kojou who has became a vampire but not just any Vampire. He is like THE vampire (Fourth Prpgenitor). And he being one of the strongest progenitor, the Lion King organisation has its concerns. So in order to monitor Kojou, they sent Himeragi to be his observer. But on their first encounter, Kojou was not what Himeragi thought he would be. Whoever the voice actor of Kojou is, he has a really sexy and deep voice.
What Kojou can do is summon beautiful and powerful familiars. Sadly, he has no idea what's going on and how to be a progenitor. He is a nice guy, and does not drink human blood. Hence, he isn't considered an honorable vampire, so his familiars will not acknowledge him as their master until he has consumed human blood. And damn, he does have a lot of girls chasing him.
My favorite characters are Kojou of course. Whoever the voice actor is, please call me. i love your voice. Like I said earlier, he is a nice guy. He does what's right and he is quite reliable to be honest.
Back to who are my fav characters:
- Asagi - she is a computer genius. She has awesome magical hacking powers. Honest, fights for what she believes in. And she totally digs Kojou. Although, Himeragi always interferes in their relationship
- Sayaka - i love how the character looks like. Perfect Samurai-sh and fighter chic look. I mean she does appear jealous all the time. But it's obvious she likes Kojou. She acts strong but deep down she is just a girl man. So lay off!
- Ardeal- I'm not sure if I got his name right? But, he is another good looking character. An all high and mighty type of guy. He is abit psychotic in a way but he is cool. But he does give off the impression that he is gay in this anime though. He is one rich vampire though.
Yaze is quite good looking too. But he doesn't make much appearance on set. You know like in the action scenes, so he didn't really leave a impression on me.
There is one particular character I hate so much. Really hate! Guess who? It's himeragi. I just hate how she clings onto Kojou. Like give him some space. She gets jealous when he gets close to other girls and she gets all irritating by saying that he needs to be more intensely observed. She keeps calling him a pervert and saying that he does irresponsible things when she isn't around. Please it's not like he is cheating on you, you're not even dating. AND EVERY SINGLE TIME WHEN THEY ARE FIGHTING TOGETHER!! Kojou says "This is my fight!" And she'll say, "No, senpai. It's our fight!" To me, she is just one irritating character. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't like this character. If they just threw away that clingy and annoying trait, I think it would be great. But still I'm sorry. D:
I'm glad that the director did capture the main point of creating an anime involving vampires. When you involve vampires, you need to show their blood lust and how they cope with it. A little biting and sucking of blood is what you need to do. Thank god, this anime didn't disappoint me in that area.
The art is really good. The characters all look so good. The animation is superb. From how the individual characters looks like to the familiars and the backgrounds. Good job!
Therefore, I would definitely recommend you to watch this anime if you're into vampires and the supernatural thing; demons and what not. And also, if you are simply in love with beautiful art. :)
