Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner (Deep Black) Review

Halo amigos ~ Today I decided to do a review on this particular eyeliner. I had nothing to do today, and I thought of doing an eyeliner review for you guys.

Figure 1: The dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in the new packaging

I have heard many raves about this liquid eyeliner and decided to give it a try. I've been trying to find the one in the old packaging but I could not find in it any of Singapore's drug stores. I guess this is the new packaging huh? The old packing had polka dots and a little ribbon. Look at the picture below to have a closer look at the old packing.

Figure 3: A close up on the new packaging

The new packaging has purple flower like designs. They kind of remind me of daisies? Maybe they are daisies huh. Yeah but I think the old packaging was a little cuter. I am a little disappointed that I couldn't find this eyeliner in its old packaging but the only difference between the new and old one is just the packaging. So fear not, all the pros of this eyeliner are still around. Although, it is said to have slight improvements. I can't really comment on that since I did not try the eyeliner in the old packaging though.

Figure 4: A close up of the eyeliner pen

I love how the pen is designed, it's like a felt tip eyeliner pen. The tip allows you to begin with a very thin line and you can build it up if you like a thicker eyeliner look. It is so smooth and easy to apply. Before using the product on the first time, remember to shake the product a little.

Figure 6: After splashing water and rubbing it for about 5 seconds

I am surprised that even with water the liner did not budge or smudge. It is really good. Right now, I am a big fan of this eyeliner. It comes in two colors, brown and deep black. The eyeliner dries super quickly avoiding smudges. I made a mistake while drawing my eyeliner, I rubbed it off with the tip of my index finger. It came off perfectly and didn't leave any residue.

It lasts all day without flaking. Overall, it is an awesome eyeliner. I might consider getting one in brown but I'll just wait out to finish the current one that I have. The only complaint about this product is probably how costly it is. I bought it from Watson's at a retail price of $24.90. But the product is definitely worth its price. Thumbs up for this product. =)

Update: 17may

After a long day, and my eyeliner is still perrrtfect baby!

Adios amigos ~
