Movie Review: Noah
The film Noah is the number one rated box office movie. It's rated NC16, if you are wondering what the ratings are. So no children under the age of 16 are allowed. It is a non-religious movie that was inspired by the tale of how Noah was called upon God to build the Ark in preparation for the flood, the plot as such requires no further introduction. This film is not a strict version of what some people believe is taken from the biblical tale. There was a lot of disagreements and unhappiness. Reviews were bad because many feel offended as the portrayal of god as a evil vengeful you know what I mean. But wows keep coming as the film is given an authentic feeling action-packed scenes often with violent frenetic and romantic moments. I would say the movie is quite thrilling and the animations was good. Sound effects as well of course.
Being a catholic myself, obviously I know what is the story that I've been taught. But I am not gonna hate and bash this movie. I'm open to it instead. It is a movie and you need to know that in movies not everything is what it is suppose to be. Personally, I felt this movie was a good one putting aside the religious aspects of the movie.
The cast did a great job. The movie has enough emotional scenes that got me all sad and teary eyed. This movie is about the struggle for personal identity, hope, love and survival. This masterpiece creates a new reality that allows viewers to suspend disbelief, and for a few hours to believe in this movie.
I give this movie, 4/5. Bring your friends and family. If you all expect a good entertainment box office movie, watch it. Hearing all the bad reviews, I was kinda dishearten but in the end I really enjoyed the movie. Do remember to keep an open mind okay!
