your hands shakes and cheeks flush,
it may not be love but pain instead.

Day 3: KL to Singapore (Kuala Lumpur)

Slept real early last night since I was totally beat. We bought so much food for our food party back at the hotel. But didn't manage to finish everything.

I woke up around 1 plus in the morning because it was extremely warm. I took off my jacket and went back to sleep.

After we got ready and packed our stuff, we checked out at 11. Headed to BTS again, to eat and buy all the stuff that we needed to.

I bought two mr. Bean bears for sasha and Luka. I bought a pouch for my trip to Bangkok in the end of September. And a pair of earrings which I was forced to get since I lost mine.

Our legs are really tired as of this moment. Our coach is at 2 and we will have to be there by 1.30pm. It's approximately 5-6 hours back to Singapore.

Since this is a free and easy trip, it was by luck that I spotted the counter for the coach back to Singapore at 46rm, perfect. If not, we would have to take the train to TBS (bus station) to take coach home.

Had Aunty Anne's and boost for breakfast. The boost here is amazing. Full of flavour and consistency. Unlike Singapore which has service variability.

We gonna spend our time here before we board the coach. Bought crepes to eat in the bus!! Yum yum.

These crepes are super cheap compared to the ones in Singapore. Though I believe it's the same shop. Check out bugis street for these awesome crepes if you want to get them in Singapore.

Waiting for our coach was really boring, I can't wait to get on the damn bus.

The seats were comfortable but yet uncomfortable. That's definitely how I would describe it. The seats are lush with buttons to adjust your seats. It's spacious but yet I still didn't feel comfortable enough to fall asleep.

After reaching Singapore, there was a massive jam all the way to toa payoh. Beach road was really at Nicholl highway and we had no idea where to take the cab from. The taxi stand is useless.

Finally a kind taxi driver spotted us and stopped. He took his time to get out of the driver's seat and carry our luggage. And finally a taxi driver with good English. Hahaha he even said good night! Wow ~ sorry but this is the first time, I enjoyed my cab journey.

Tata tired now ~

Day 2: KL (Kuala Lumpur)

Day 2 and we had difficulty getting out of bed. Firstly, we were too tired from walking the day before and our legs are too sore. Secondly, it was too cold. And lastly, we were anticipating the long journey we would have today.

Stops for the day: berjaya Times Square(BTS), pavilion, KLC.

The plan is to have breakfast BTS and try out the indoor theme park first. After which, we will go by foot to pavilion and shop. That's where the shopping is all at I suppose. Prices are a little pricey.

For breakfast, we ate at the chicken rice shop. They have set meals and ala cartes . Their chicken portion is what you call generous. In Singapore, the meat they give you is so scrawny and little. With such extragant prices, the chicken rice in Singapore cannot match with their prices.

Next, we are wasting time by shopping at BTS. 12 noon is when the theme park is open!!

Check out the indoor roller coaster! After all the rides, we feel slightly nauseous. Okay more than just slightly. We sat 4 rides in a row. And they consist of 2 360 degree turn rides. There was even a rodeo machine, I was too nauseous to try although I really wanted to try it.

All these rides are within the same mall. This proves that this mall is sooooooo effing big.

We were so nauseous after the fourth ride that we rushed to the washroom to freshen up.

Foot reflexology time! We needed to recuperate from all the excessive walking and energy used. Sadly, I got a male masseuse. I am very ticklish around my entire leg region. So I had a hard time enduring the foot massage. Worst of all, it's an hour of endurance.

We headed back to the hotel after a relaxing massage. Freshen up and left all the stuff we bought from berjaya Times Square. I swear, I finally got my kiminos at a cheap price and a pants that I have been wanting to get.

The journey to pavilion was a short one. And it's looks like an orchard road of Malaysia. And it's just on the opposite side from BTS. To have such a difference is amazing.

This is the sephora there. It's in an separate building than pavilion. Pavilion has all the high end brands that you might want to get such as mac, jimmy choo etc.

After quickly browsing at pavilion, we headed to klcc (Kuala Lumpur convention centre) for sight seeing. There is a long bridge leading you. Just follow the signs and it's impossible to miss.

Before that, we got some ice cream to cool ourselves down.

I got the French vanilla and nad got the Oreo favoured one. The pictures tells all!

Enjoying our ice cream and walking the insanely long bridge. We finally reached our destination.

Check out the friendly photo bomber who got into our picture. We weren't aware until nad browse her photo library. Holy, what a sneaky guy! Haha but we had a great laugh.

Twin tower?

There were lots of people taking selfies at this spot. Most were taking a break of course.

On our journey back, we had to try the cute looking popsicles. You can't not have it!

Pardon for the shadows and reflections.

The smiley is mango flavoured while the heart shaped is strawberry flavoured. So good looking huh?

Back to our favourite mall (BTS), we bought a huge amount of rubbish to eat back at the hotel. Aunty Anne's, boost juice, Wendy's, subway and some kuehs. I doubt we will be able to finish all of them.

Byeeees ~

Day 1: KL (Kuala Lumpur)

Second ever trip out of Singapore with my friends. Haha this time my travel companion is Nadhirah (nad)!

We met up at 7-7.15 in the morning. We sort of car pooled. She took a cab to my place and we headed to bugis to take the express bus to Johor Bahru. This express bus will cost you $2.50.

Don't lose your ticket though. You'll be needing it for the journey after the Malaysian check point to Larkin. :)

After we reach Larkin, we were in search for a bus to KL. It takes approximately 5 hours to reach KL. While waiting for the bus, we bought snacks and tidbits to snack on during the bus ride.

After reaching KL, we had to take the train to hang tuah and change to the monorail. We stopped at bukit bintang. Thing about carrying the luggage is that the train station has not much escalators. So it's tough carrying the luggage up and down. The train is soooo packed.

This is how their standard ticket looks like. It's more of a token. The gold coin is rm fyi.

After we alighted at our station, the hotel is just within walking distance. Nothing too difficult to find but because I had an expert by my side, it was a breeze. Hehe

This is the hotel lobby and reception area. Service is good so far. They brought our luggage up to our room.

So, we will be exploring in abit. I am speaking this way because I am updating my blog as time passes. This way, I won't forget to mention anything.

Stops for the day would be berjaya Times Square, low yat and sungei wang.

Berjaya Times Square has a lot of clothes. We have yet to explore the entire mall yet. It has a couple of wholesale store around such as puma and Adidas. I am not sure if the prices are any different than Singapore. The clothes here are not bad either.

Haha this place here. Has lots of maxi dresses, kimonos and skirts. Tops as well. I bought a kimono at 29.90rm.

Low yat is like your Singapore sim lim square. All the IT stuff that you'll need or want, you can get them here. And there is lots of high pressure sales techniques going on. Not even 2 seconds of eye contact, "hi miss."

Sungei wang has a giant where we bought our toiletries. Guardian as well. I even bought the Maybelline super fresh compact here because it costs 23.90rm here and in Singapore it costs 19.90sgd at the moment due to ongoing promotions. What a great bargain!

There is even a fourskin there. I bought 2 scarves at 10rm. Wow! Really. We were in a rush, so we didn't manage to explore the entire mall either :(

Lastly, we headed back to berjaya Times Square for dinner. There is a theme park thing going on and we will be heading here tomorrow. We ate at kenny rogers. :)

Bought Krispy Kreme here. Half a dozen for 12.70 rm? Wow. Compared to Singapore, the prices here are so much cheaper.

That ends my day 1 here. Tata ~ my legs are killing me

Side story****
In the coach, a chubby looking pao guy came on to the bus. I thought he was part of the bus crew or whatever they are called since he was flashing his ID. He was conversing with everyone on the bus in Malay. So I can't understand anything.

He was holding a few rm. So I was wondering if he was collecting additional fare. Turns out, the ID is to prove that he is physically handicapped. He said he had seizures at least 4 times a day? Okay but seriously an ID that certifies you disabled? First time I heard of it. Wow, and he goes around begging for $$.

I call him the pao man. His cheeks were so puffy. He is cute but what scared me was the look he gave me when I didn't get what he meant.

Exams are crazily stressful. And you really need to have the motivation to keep on going and going. especially if you have modules that are so so very dry and requires all your brain juices to help you!!
