Okay,
I am definitely not too sure what
day has it been since I did my surgery. Right now, still numbness in my
toe. I'm able to wiggle my toe a tiny weeny bit. Once in a while, it does hurt
but nothing to excruciating. I'm doing pretty well. I'm still finishing my
course of anti-inflammatories. I've stop the pain killers and will only take
them when I need them really badly. My next appointment is on March the 30th.
Still had to keep my bandages dry, I can't wait to wash my feet =(
Just for your information, i wrapped
my feet in a plastic bag and used a towel to wrap around my ankle and the shin
area to prevent water from seeping into the plastic bag. I have a chair in my
shower area and my leg will rest on top of the toilet seat cover. Tough life, I
know!
Lately,
I also have sleeping issues. Insomnia again? Sigh, what's up again? I spent the
entire night tossing and turning. I hate that every once in a while, I will get
this.
Last
Thursday, I actually went out with my sister to watch Insurgent in the theatres.
Well, let's talk more about the inconsiderate Singaporeans shall we? *pfft
Taking
public transport was not at all ideal, I should have taken a cab or something.
It was easy to get on the bus but really tough to get down. I believe I did
strain my leg when I was stepping down. I actually do not really need the help
of my crutches, but I just decide to take one. You know, Just in case I may
need it later.
Train:
Everyone did not care that I was injured and using crutches. The priority
(reserved) seats were full and the ones with elderly, I do not expect them to
give up their seats. But those which were occupied by healthy young adults,
teens and adults? All they do is stare as usual. I bet they expect me to stand
right in front of them and stare at them until they offer their seat to me.
Even if the priority seats are taken, not necessarily that seat should be given
up to me but the normal seats could have been offered as well. Well, you know
the inconsiderate people. Not just Singaporeans, the PRC as well. We know you
are tired from work but I clearly need the seat more than you do. Its common
sense right?
On the
way to Nex, I'm glad a young student did offer her seat to me. She was seated
in the middle. On the way back home, nobody gave their seat up and the train
was not that crowded that they couldn't have seen me. I was standing up the
entire journey back home. Gee, that made me a little irritated and pissed.
Side
story: Insurgent was great. Though it's really different from the book, and I
wasted my time reading the book? Well, I don't really like to read books. I'm
the complete opposite of my sister. HA!
Signing off,
