Exam Results
Semester 2014/2015 Exam Results are Here!
Hi blog buddies,
The day has arrived. The day that I received my exam results. The
day you realized that you either studied hard enough or did not study hard
enough. The day where you believe if god is real, just kidding; no religious
jokes here.
I studied pretty hard, i'll say. I didn't even sleep much during
the examination period. Exams are always tough and time consuming. Well, all my
efforts wasn't in vain.
The grading
system goes like this:
Distinctions are awarded by the assessment board
>80% - A
Between 75% & 80% - B+
70% - <75% - B
65% - <70% - C
So, what did I
get? I got 2 distinctions (essentials of financial services & Business
Law), 2 As (international business and personal financial planning and life
insurance) and 2 B+ (consumer banking and alternative investments and hedge
funds).
Okay, I know my alternative investments paper will definitely not
get an A since I forgot so many important points but my consumer banking!
*sigh* I studied so hard for that!!
I'll say I did better than expected but the modules that I
expected to get an A for consumer banking, i got a B+ instead. How depressing,
after studying so hard and understanding the module soooooooo well. I did my
best, I guessed I must have made some careless mistakes here and there. Last
semester, I did not do too well. My Grade Point Average (GPA) dropped from 3.83
to a 3.80. All thanks to
someone!! This is my
cumulative GPA. Thanks to an improvement this semester, my GPA rose by 0.1.
*laughs*
The story is that an annoying
little girl promised to teach
me how the method goes. I was not feeling well on that particular day that the
lecture was conducted. She kept telling me to follow the formula. Well, there
isn't a damn formula. Every case has a different way of interpreting. All i
wanted to know is why and how? She definitely screwed me over. Learning from my
mistakes, I never ever asked her anything important or listen to her advice.
The last time she told me not to study something, it came out. (kind of my
fault for that). Also, she is one person that is ever so competitive. She cries
when something goes wrong. I have some words to describe her, they would
probably be, "cry-baby", "not-human",
"competitive" and "immature".
I had lots of trouble with competitive people in the course of my
studies. Next story is about a Boy, so let's call him Mr. B shall we? Mr. B is always very
competitive and he loves to laugh at others down fall. He acts all kind,
friendly but deep down everybody knows his intentions. After one particular
paper, we were talking about the paper. Duh, like all students do after exams.
I misread the question and used the wrong method to calculate the price, he
literally laughed in my face. Wow, what a way to be discreet about it. How do I
deal with him? I just brush it off, my dad always say "what goes around,
comes around". So, he will get his retribution.
*side note: Happy birthday Naseha!!
Okay that's all for now,
xoxo signing off ♥
